  • Executive Protection Training:

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTIFIED INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGER (CISM) CERTIFICATION:

To qualify for the CISM certification, candidates must meet the following requirements: 

  1. Education:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  1. Work Experience: 
  • At least five years of work experience in information security management.
  • This experience must include at least three years of information security management experience in three or more of the CISM domains:

i) Information Security Governance

ii) Information Risk Management

iii) Information Security Program Development and Management

iv) Information Security Incident Management

Exemptions: 

  • Certain educational and professional certifications can waive up to two years of the required work experience. For example, possessing a master’s degree in information security or related fields may count as one year of experience.
